What you want to do
Use gprof compatible tools with swimps output.

How you can currently achieve it
Manually converting profiles.

What you would like instead
Automate it!

An example workflow

  1. Run swimps --load myprofile --export gprof
  2. Get an amazing gprof compatible output!

Desired platform
x86_64

Extra info
Apparently there's 2 different gprof formats; Unix and BSD. It'd be worth seeing what's most used / supporting both if it's not too much work.
