This test card is used to validate ideas and working hypotheses consistently in 4 steps: 1) Hypothesis 2) Experiment 3) Metric 4) Criterion
1. Hypothesis: We believe that
An expandable robot can make science education more customizable and fun.
2. Experiment: To verify it we will do
Use or re-design existing electronic sensors, create expansions for robots and make them interact.
Materials needed:
- 3D printer, electronic sensors, motors and displays
Tasks
- Research sensors and actuators.
- Explore interactions of multiple inputs and outputs.
3. Metric: and we will measure the following indicators
How many functional expansions can we make?
4. Criteria: We have partially validated the idea if
the expansions prove to work, interact and can be customized into a robot with more features
