Sorry for using this like a comments section, Github really freaking needs to implement something like that.
First off: holy fucking balls, dude. This might be the most fully featured MIDI controller I've ever seen, let alone based on open hardware like this. One suggestion I would make is to include a short video showing off the features. There's just so freaking much here it's kind of hard to keep it all straight in my head. I want to try this so bad I think I'm gonna buy the necessary hardware. I already have a Neotrellis M4 (the kind of dual fused Neotrellis board) and I swear I remember reading somewhere that it's totally possible to use the M4 and 2x normal Neotrellis tiles to create a single 8x8 grid, but I can't remember ever actually seeing it be done or mentioned again. And trying to remember my experience with the OG Trellis tiles you have to use solder blobs to select which I2C address each tile will use and I can't really picture how one would do that when using the M4. I guess I have some reading to do haha.
