Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe.
No.
Describe the solution you'd like
I think it would be cool if we made the whiteboard have the ability to switch to being an overlay whiteboard in the future (and function similar to gromit-mpx); as in, you press a button and everything you have written this far switches to being in overlay mode. Consequently, the background becomes transparent. When you want to stop using overlay mode, you simply press a button located at one of the corners and the normal whiteboard pops back up.
The only issue would be the bounding boxes and the infinite canvas that Drawy provides. This is likely a negligible problem with our flexible in-development navigation system.
Some use cases I can think of for this is integration with Hyprland, where a different class name is given when in overlay mode; in turn, Hyprland moves it to a special workspace and allows you to multitask seamlessly. In addition, it will be useful for streamers and other people who want to use recording software (e.g., OBS) without using a separate video input source and a green background in Drawy.
