It's pretty easy to lose focus / track on where you are playing around on the map. Sometimes you've accidentally moved to a certain area, zoomlevel and want to go back to the start.

Is it possible to hit a "reset" button to go back to the initial position and zoomlevel without refreshing the page?

I think you cannot currently do this, though it should be possible to modify the code so you can. Do you want this for some specific mapping service or for maps in general?

I've added the "center / centre" instruction to make sure that out of bound results are not shown.

This was a good start, as the map now starts of with the right location. Perhaps this input is a starting point for a reset functionality.
