Add Bing Maps support #460
Comments
As far as I know it should be much easier now to add new geoservice providers after Jeroen refactored the code. Probably the same for Yandex or Here Maps. |
Is this a question or a feature request? The link to the docs is about a bing layer when using OpenLayers. No idea if that works, and generally using the OpenLayers service is not recommended as Maps uses a very old version. |
I guess this is a feature request and this is why I have labeled it as such. Moreover others can subscribe to follow any progress on this. |
You meant OpenLayers as in service "openlayers"? This would mean that only "leaflet" is usable for people who cannot use or do not want to use GoogleMaps? |
Correct... at least is it more suitable than the OpenLayers service |
Ah, ok. I did not know. Probably there should be a note on wiki about this. Edit: I added an info to the relavant pages: |
According to this: |
I believe that all of this is no longer working as the example shows. |
