🔁 Steps to Reproduce

I'm on macOS 15.5 (24F74). I asked a question about my codebase, which includes some fairly large files (around 2 MB each).

💥 Outcome Summary

Expected to get response, but instead I got stuck at "API request...."

Then the "retry" button appeared.

Very new to RooCode, not sure if I did this right, aren't there suppose to show some error message?

I've opened PR #7746 with a fix for this issue: #7746

The fix adds timeout configuration to the Anthropic provider, which was missing compared to other providers. This should prevent API requests from hanging indefinitely when processing large files.

The implementation:

• Adds the same timeout configuration that other providers (OpenAI, Ollama, LM Studio) already use
• Includes comprehensive test coverage
• Uses the existing VSCode setting roo-cline.apiRequestTimeout (default: 600 seconds)

While this addresses the core issue of requests hanging indefinitely, future improvements could include better error message display when timeouts occur. The PR is ready for review!
