Build warning from no return type in utils.cpp

This if/else if needs a default return type if none of those branches are entered, resulting in a cmake warning

Do you have a different flag setup for you cmake? I haven't had any issue compiling without the else case.
I can definitely add that missing return statement.
Would be nice I have the same cmake flags setup too!

I just used what your readme suggested on Ubuntu 20.04, might be a compiler version thing?
