• Text: The latest version of the PDF for the EAD 4.0 Tag Library (https://github.com/SAA-SDT/EAS-TagLibraries/blob/ead4-examples-for-submission/pdf/EAD4-TL-eng.pdf resp. https://github.com/SAA-SDT/EAS-TagLibraries/blob/ailie-s-EAD4-with-examples/pdf/EAD4-TL-eng.pdf) has combined the two separate encoding examples for <archDesc> into one and is now listing the entity elements (agents, formsAvailable, functions, and places) mixed into the narrative elements (scopeContent, biogHist, etc.). The schema requires the entity elements to appear first, i.e. before any of the narrative elements, which was one of the reasons to have two separate <archDesc> examples.

Suggested Solution

• Text: Either go back to having two separate encoding examples for <archDesc> or correct the existing one to reflect the required sequence according to the schema.
