use controller tracking data to automatically switch between controller and hand tracking

the "toggle left controller" "toggle right controller" buttons are not very ergonomic. is it possible to automatically toggle these as the user picks up and puts down controllers?

Please please please can you try and add this as soon as possible. There are multiple use cases when you need to use both controllers and hand-tracking and we need a method to be able to switch seamlessly. When researching I keep reading that it's possible to do on the quest by tapping the controllers together and it makes me sad that they can do it and we can't :(
