Settings that has to be sent to the PCB is confusing

Take this picture:

For me based on how the old RC used to work was logical that I have to press the button on the bottom right corner to send it to the PCB.

However it seems to me that I'd instead have to press on the Send button. Right now I press the bottom right, then send, then wait a bit until it restarts before moving on the next page.

What's the expected workflow here?
What does that button do? Save to profile?

The button on the lower right saves the edit to the profile. The send button sends the changes to the pcb. All the changes can be made to the profile and saved, then send the changes to the pcb. I can add this information to the help for the page.
