Shared funding not working

I tried the shared funding, on my own instance, and after the first topup, no subsequent topup would show up in the total of the tipcard, I tired with other wallet, internal wallet (same lnbits as connected to tipcards), the invocie are marked as paid on the wallet but the card keep the same initial amount. I see all the incoming payments on the lnbits wallet that I tried to add sats on the same voucher.

Also note that for testing I manually change the voucher in LNbits, so the amount in the end is correct for the voucher but it's not reflected on the tipcards interface, I guess this it normal however.

that's interesting. There seems to be a problem of LNbits not being able to read LNURLp links from wallets on the same LNbits instance. Maybe this has something to do with your scenario, but let's verify it first.

Use case: Different Nodes

I tried it on our production instance (https://tipcards.io) and shared funding is working fine when I am using a different Lightning Node than the one TipCards is connected to for funding.
E.g. LNbits on a different LND node or Wallet of Satoshi.

Use case: Same LNbits instance (= same Lightning Node)

It currently does not seem to be possible to pay LNURLp links from one to another wallet on the same LNbits instance.

I manually created a payment link in one of my wallets in the LNbits UI and tried reading it on another wallet on the same LNbits instance, which resulted in an error:

• Could you try shared funding on tipcards.io?
• Could you try both use cases (maybe also just LNURLp without TipCards) and confirm my suspicion?
• Which LNbits and TipCards versions are you using?

On tipcards.io it works, I could fund with my lnbits + wos + lnbits again and then withdraw with lnbits, no issue.

Now on my instances:
I'm not sure which version of LNbits I was using, strangely I couldn't find it mentioned anywhere on the UI and in the folders. I think I was at 1.1.0 or 1.2.0.
Tipcards is 0.4.19 according to UI (is it the last version? here I see 0.4.8 as the last... strange.

I confirm that I can fund the tipcards from the same instance without issues, I always do that.
I tried a new tipcard, activate shared funding and top up once with Phoenix, worked, then with WoS, invoiced paid but the tipcards didn't update to the new amount, same as with internal topup first.

Now I updated LNbits to 1.3.0 RC2 and updated LNURLp and LNURLw to the latest version (only compatible 1.3.0) and tried again.
Shared funding, topup with Phoenix, ok. Topup with WoS, paid but not OK, the tipcards stays the same. Tried again with my own lnbits, same, no change.

Now I'm not sure what I should try with LNURLp directly? To pay any invoice? It's working of course. LNURLw I cannot really test to load multiple time as lnbits generate it, no need to load anything.

Apparently we missed pushing the tags to GitHub, this is why the more recent releases did not show up here. (The code itself was up-to-date, but the tags weren't.) Sorry for that!
I just pushed all tags, so the displayed releases should be complete now.

I would recommend that you update TipCards to the latest version, as we had to do some adjustments concerning compatibility with LNbits versions 1.0.0 and later, and we also did a quite important fix concerning the data synchronization between backend and frontend (via server-sent events).

Both might be potential fixes for your problems.

Please let me know if an update solves your issues.
