Sherlock freezes if i "spam" open it.

Steps to Reproduce

1. try to open it multiple times after each other.

Expected Behavior

just allow one to exist?

• Window Manager: Hyprland

so this doesn't happen often, but now it's the second time, this time I actually opened it multiple times fast intentionally, as I was a bit bored and just spammed a hotkey. But it has happened before by accident, and so what I have to do is then to A somehow shutdown my pc for example by holding the power button as noting else responds, I cannot focus on anything (that's the main problem). Or B ssh into my pc via my phone and kill the process.

So it's not a very high priority problem, but if someone maybe knows what could be the problem/how to fix it, it would be nice.

We are currently working on a completely new version of Sherlock, which also changes up the UI framework to gpui. For that reason, the entire code base gets rewritten and reevaluated. This specific issue is probably already resolved there.

For now, if this is frequent issue for you, I'd suggest you bind a key to 'killall sherlock'. This will at least prevent the issue where you have to restart your computer.

Nonetheless, I'll check if there's something that I can find regarding this issue, to provide a fix without you having to switch to the new version immediately.

Where can I find information about the rewrite?
Is it the unstable branch? As I'm interested at looking at the progress of it.

@MiniPandi In the meantime here's a useful command that I set to one of my keybinds in my own config, it "toggles" the launcher instead of opening it every time the keybind is registering :
