Buff cast does not succeed

Only noticed today 2024-09-17, but it seems like the actual buff casting may be broken.

Observed Behavior

• Click on the action button (or mouse up/mouse down)
• Action button icon briefly changes from the missing buff icon to the "default" evocation icon. (I assume this means it is trying)
• Spell is not actually cast.

I don't believe this is an addon interaction. I nuked my Interface/AddOns directory and my WTF and just installed SmartBuff and Bazooka and still saw the same behavior.

Please provide the following information so the issue can be reproduced:

What buffs do you have selected, what character? What game client version?

Have you fully reset smart buff options via button in the ui?

I play with it every day on retail and it works just fine for the buffs I have defined.

you can try /sb debug it's going to be VERY chatty but it may tell you why it's not casting something (turn off debug by using /sb debug again)

Thanks for the reply. For whatever reason, it is working again now. I don't know if it was some weird server thing causing the casts to be laggy or if I ended up resetting as part of playing one of my other alts. In any case, please consider this issue closed as it was either a Blizzard problem or a Me problem.
