[noabug] How hot LEDs actually are?

Hello,

thank you for the awesome project and the inspiration!
I am thinking about adding the same cool feature to my kid's drumkit for more fun. Making measurements and planning the circuits I found out, that LEDs you mentioned could be pretty hot while working. Would be unfortunate if they damage pads from the inside. Did you measure the temperature of the setup during intensive drumming?

Hi there, apologies for the delayed reply as I somehow wasn't notified of your comment. I haven't had any temperature issue personally. The strip I use never gets hot enough to the point I can't touch it with my hand so I don't think it would cause any damage. Although I know some leds can do this so it just depends on which you use.
