Information on how to use topics on websockets correctly is missing. Is it also possible to have “test” alerts to check the code ?

Sorry if my request is not made in the right place or in the wrong way.

I wouldn't consider using the Streamelements Websockets at the moment, as it is still in development and not production ready (please any staff correct me if I'm wrong).
My suggestion is that you connect to Streamelements events via Socket.io implementation.
