In fact, Jan’s diagnosis was that due to a number of failures in the PM following a power black out, the affected amplitude is roughly 10-15 dB S/N on the data and, worst, the affected phase is roughly one beam offset.
Perhaps, for particular type of analysis such data can still be useful, but I think that the release should be only upon specific request and after dedicated discussion. Are there any other SuperDARN data that have to be released in such a “restricted” way, just to have an example to follow? If you have any advice on this it would be appreciated
