We have an open-source project that is still looking for a few volunteers. We got 8 volunteers to help us with the first 18 issues and thanks to them we got all that stuff done in less than 2 weeks. While there is no deadline for getting this done, we would like to have it completed ASAP so that we can start the process of trying to get this added to the LMS for the current TLM students.
After those first issues were completed, we had some of the reviewers ask for 5 more small changes. This app is only front-end HTML, CSS, & JS. The JS is a bit on the advanced side though. Since this is a public repo and an open-source project that is also live on the internet, volunteering and helping out with this project will give you something great to add to your resume and portfolio! We have 3 issues that are labeled "Good First Issue" meaning they are excellent issues for someone new to contributing to take on.
If you have a couple hours you can donate to help us complete these issues, you're comfortable with JS and editing existing codebases, and you are familiar with the process of version control using Git and GitHub (or are willing to learn while you're helping), please DM Jacob Briggs on the TLM Returned Citizen Slack.
