Weapons are raised up way above the controller

How do I set the weapon to be on the controller instead of 2 feet above it? It's difficult to aim with the gun raised up like that.

It happens to me with the axe, but not with the shotgun/double barreled shotgun/nailgun.

Although reducing the scale of the weapons would also be nice, they're gigantic
