Matching Transactions not FOund

Any idea why if I highlight Bank Transaction on Zadarma, no match is displayed on the righ on the ERPnext transactions?

Have selected all transaction types. The currency is the same on all of them (so the foreign currency incorrrect display as reported separately cannnot be an issue.

Maybe it is just be - expected to see on the left the Bank Transactions from the Bank Statement, and on the right the ERPnext Bank Transaction. Yes this seems to be the case. But what I think confused me is that by Enabling the 'Bank Transaction' from the settings, shows the imported bank transactions on the right? What is the reason for this?

So I think the logic is that a bank transaction could be reconciled against another bank transaction - not sure how it works in the backend of ERPNext (will check) but maybe it's for transactions that go in and out - like a payment and a payment that was reversed - so you don't want to record it to your GL but still want to reconcile one bank transaction to another.

OK that makes sense.

I do struggle with 'Match and Reconcile'. E.g. for example Bank Transfer between Euro & Sterling, 'Match & Reconcile' does not seem to find the match. Mainly because the Base Currency amounts on the right side (ERPnext account entry) do not match the bank statement value. However if I check the ledger values the sterling & euro amounts are correct. Looks like may the bank reconciliation routine uses either some difference exchnage rate, or the issue is similar to reported on the Bank Clearance summary that shows a) currency value instead base value b) if the payment entry has deduction - actual amount - it shows the amount without deduction although the value is corredt on the ledger.

Get around using the Force Clear functions. But sure really confusing if someone has not got experience on the system. I will probably raise separate fault report on b) so that it can be tracked.

I suppose Mint uses underlying ERPNext logic to find the entries in the 'Match and Reconcile window'?

Yes @jukkis69 , Mint uses the standard ERPNext logic for Match and Reconcile.
