Probably requires implementing:

  • Pick ref optics based on minimal solid angle, cf:
  • generate rays based on that
  • elimininate rays that don't get through all optics
    • necessitate checking lines going through 3d polygons
      • easy for only 2d polygons
      • TBD for real 3d
