Session type (xnat:imageSessionData/session_type) can be set with Xnatsetvar and used for longitudinal analysis in v3 processors.
This is evidently a different field than the "session_type" reported by Xnatreport (value typically "MR"). Xnatreport should be able to return the longitudinal session_type field. Possibly also other command line tools?
And it would be helpful to have it available in a GUI screen as well. Right now it can only be seen by viewing the session XML.
