gas elements don't connect to each other without a duct in between

This issue occurs when only Valkyrien Skies and addons are installed and no other mods.

• I have tested this issue and it occurs when no other mods are installed

Minecraft Version

• 1.20.x
• 1.21.x
• Older (Unsupported)

Mod Loader

• Forge
• NeoForge
• Fabric
• Quilt

Expected Behavior

In my opinion they should connect but that might be an intended feature for some of them (but things like exhaust should definitely connect)

(btw I had to check the "I have tested this issue and it occurs when no other mods are installed", but I tested it in my modpack, though it shouldn't affect anything)

Not a bug, swapping it to feature

I'm just saying.... my sussy solution of having a edge + node + edge in every block is looking mighty tempting rn :wtfdidewoudjedothistime:

This is fixable without sus. Gas pump and valve can connect between 2 node blocks without ducts. I just have to implement it for gas engine, exhaust, heater and other blocks where it makes sense to do so
