Symptoms

Attempting to launch Balatro results in it running for a couple seconds, before immediately closing. Installing love onto the system and running Balatro through that allows the game to launch, although without progress gained prior to launching with this method or possibly, as heard from others with this issue, achievements.

Reproduction

1. Download and install Balatro
2. Using any version of proton, attempt to launch the game.
3. The game will show as running momentarily, before promptly closing
4. Install love, the game engine, via system repositories.
5. Add love Balatro.exe; echo %command% into the game's launch options
6. Attempt to launch the game again
7. The game will successfully launch, though with progress entirely separate to before this workaround was used.
