[Feature Request] Unify Vesktop icon across platforms, between app and tray

Motivation

I find it frustrating that Vesktop icons are inconsistent across platforms and as well as between the app and tray. On Mac and Linux, it uses the nice and recognizable "rainbow VC" as the app icon. On Windows the app icon is the "transparent VC" icon. Additionally, on all platforms, the "transparent VC" icon is used for the tray.

Solution

I propose using one icon design for the app and tray across platforms.

Alternatives

While I am aware that other issues address tray icon customization as well as app icon customization, none address the inconsistency across platforms and between the dash and tray icons.

Additionally, I am aware that there is a branch that will introduce a new Vesktop icon, but this does not actually fix the underlying inconsistency between the icons used. In that branch, the "transparent VC" icon will be used for the tray icon on all platforms as well as the app icon on Windows alone.

Additional context

To be very clear: this is not another issue asking for the removal of the rainbow VC icon, which I find quite visually pleasing. I am also not advocating for any other specific icon.

I'm only suggesting that there be one Vesktop icon used for the app and tray on all platforms by default.

This would be accomplished by using the same design for build/icon.icns as for static/icon.png and static/icon.ico.

using the same icon for the tray is bad UX/design. The tray is substantially smaller than any case the app icon will be in.

once a 'proper' icon is merged/finalized discussion can be had on a simplified tray design.

This still doesn't address the platform inconsistency this issue raises. On Windows Vesktop does same icon is used for the app and the tray, which you indicate is bad UX/design.

Putting aside the tray issue for the moment, is there an intended reason for Windows using a different app icon from Mac and Linux?
