Releases for all Walnut versions

Overtime there are a number of Walnut versions created. Usually development was copied over to a new repository and continued there.

It would be nice if there is a single place where all versions of Walnut can be found.

GitHub has a feature called releases. This is ideal suited to host any version of Walnut

A first step would be to add a version tag on each commit that corresponds to a proper version of Walnut.

The CHANGELOG.md file provides some incomplete info and the git logs might also help. Here is what I was able to track.

Here are the commit refs for version 1 according to the logs:

Maybe devs can help complete this list so that we can tag (and then build releases with artifacts).

@nopid thanks for your investigation. It will certainly help the process of tagging and creating releases

I think the best way forward is to create tags for each version and use those tags to create a release.

One question (maybe two separate feature requests): there's having a tag, and there's also having a (packaged) release with a JAR.

(Note that a JAR is not enough to run Walnut, since it needs supporting directories with the Automaton files. This is related to #14)

@jn1z Exactly, the content of the packaged release has to be defined...

For my notebooks, I have a multi-stage docker image that take care of that. Here is stage 0:

The tags that are being defined will not be a full release @jn1z

They are an intermediate step towards a release that can be downloaded.

Which in itself could be an intermediate step towards packing it into a container.

For that matter, I don't really want to spend a lot of time tagging all version, only canonical i.e. latest version Walnut.

E.g version the tag v2.0.0 will refer to the latest commit of the version 2 repository.
