Underscores in Observation Types

• For people using the Belchertown skin, underscores do not work for the live updates by MQTT. There, the underscore is used to separate the observation type name from the unit.
• In core WeeWX there are never underscores before counting numbers, for example appTemp1, dewpoint1, extraTemp1 etc. I do not understand why people do not follow the model of known observation types.

When I started with WeeWx, I didn't know much about WeeWx. In particular, I only started using Home Assistant and MQTT this year.
I have now adapted this extension. But this also means that I have to adapt these extensions:
weatherlinkliveudp.py
davisconsoleapi.py
Since these extensions also take into account 2 VantagePro and/or VantageVue.
