So if I have Synthetic_Heart running on a remote server (let's say my AI server) and I open up the web interface on the client (let's say my desktop), the server-side of things updates correctly; however, the client side will not update unless either a refresh is sent or two or three minutes go by.

Yes, we are aware about bugs with animations, you can follow this branch where there are underoing fixes.
This brings a complete revamp of the VRM state as it implements a KaradaStateServer (Karada means body). The WebUI is connecting to this server, so it will no more integrated in it. Many other applications might benefit of the API endpoints so creating other graphical interfaces will be easier as theis server is delivering the model status, the model itself, the animetions themselves, so graphical interface will be meant to render them.
