  • S3 is an object level storage system.
  • Bucket can have unlimited number of objects.
  • From an architecture perspective, S3 is a global product.
  • Be aware of limits.
  • No uppercase letters.
  • Globally unique.

  • Cross-Origin-Resource-Sharing
  • Uses gateway endpoints - Does not support interface endpoints.
  • Buckets are actually flat structures.
  • Be aware that you can define public access settings at the account level.
