Plugin doesn't work on groups

Issue:
When applying a status to a top-level group, the old status label is not removed and status labels stack on top of each other.
Warning in console: "unhandled promise rejection: TypeError: object is not extensible"

Expected Behavior:
Plugin works the same on top level groups as it does on top level frames and components
