I am wondering if an AGENTS.md file HAS to be written in english language, or if it can be in another language?
For now I have a copilot-instructions.md in english and a copilot-instructions.fr.md in french. The one used by the agents is the english one, but when I have to edit it, I edit the french version and ask copilot to update the english one accordingly.
I'm thinking about having a single AGENTS.md in french.
Does the language of the file read by agents really matter?
