using jupyter in VS Code, the markdown text that describes the PYTHONHASHSEED environment variable says the variable needs to be set to "0". It really needs to be set to 0. otherwise the initialization of sys hangs.

also, in using the sklearn method of random sampling, you said that it was very similar to the initial way to split the data. However, you said that initial way was inadequate because it did not create results in a repeatable manner. Does this mean that the sklearn method doesn't have repeatable results either?
