what version of JuicerTools creates version 7 .hic files?

I have tried different JuicerTool versions, but so far, they result in .hic file with a format of v8. is there any specific version that can generate a v7 .hic file? Alternatively, is there a way to convert a v8 .hic file to v7?
I am having some compatibility issues with v8 hic files and some tools are throwing an error regarding a missing magic string in my .hic file which I believe is something specific to v8.
