This document describes additional Sender attributes and their permitted values which may be used in Sender resources within the AMWA IS-04 NMOS Discovery and Registration Specification.

parameter_sets_transport_mode

  • Name: urn:x-matrox:parameter_sets_transport_mode
  • Description: Describes the parameter sets transport mode for compressed audio and video
  • Specification: AMWA IS-04, AAC, H.264, H.265
  • Applicability: urn:x-nmos:transport:rtp, urn:x-matrox:transport:rtp.tcp, urn:x-matrox:transport:srt.rtp, urn:x-nmos:transport:rtsp, urn:x-nmos:transport:rtsp.tcp
  • Permitted Values: in-band, out-of-band, in-and-out-of-band

parameter_sets_flow_mode

  • Name: urn:x-matrox:parameter_sets_flow_mode
  • Description: Describes the parameter sets flow mode for compressed audio and video
  • Specification: AMWA IS-04, AAC, H.264, H.265
  • Applicability: urn:x-nmos:transport:rtp, urn:x-matrox:transport:rtp.tcp, urn:x-matrox:transport:srt.rtp, urn:x-nmos:transport:rtsp, urn:x-nmos:transport:rtsp.tcp
  • Permitted Values: strict, static and dynamic

hkep

  • Name: urn:x-matrox:hkep
  • Description: A boolean attribute indicating if the IPMX HKEP protocol is used by the Sender. It matches with the presence (true) or absence (false) of hkep attributes in the Sender's SDP transport file.
  • Specification: AMWA IS-04, IPMX
  • Applicability: urn:x-nmos:transport:rtp, urn:x-matrox:transport:rtp.tcp, urn:x-matrox:transport:srt.rtp, urn:x-nmos:transport:rtsp, urn:x-nmos:transport:rtsp.tcp
  • Permitted Values: boolean true, false

privacy

  • Name: urn:x-matrox:privacy
  • Description: A boolean attribute indicating if the IPMX PEP protocol is used by the Sender. It matches with the presence (true) or absence (false) of an privacy attribute in the Sender's SDP transport file.
  • Specification: AMWA IS-04, IPMX
  • Applicability: urn:x-nmos:transport:rtp, urn:x-matrox:transport:rtp.tcp, urn:x-matrox:transport:srt.rtp, urn:x-nmos:transport:rtsp, urn:x-nmos:transport:rtsp.tcp
  • Permitted Values: boolean true, false

info_block

  • Name: urn:x-matrox:info_block
  • Description: An array of integers attribute indicating the IPMX media info block types produced by the Sender. The array is empty if the Sender does not produces media info blocks.
  • Specification: AMWA IS-04, IPMX
  • Applicability: urn:x-nmos:transport:rtp, urn:x-matrox:transport:rtp.tcp, urn:x-matrox:transport:srt.rtp, urn:x-nmos:transport:rtsp, urn:x-nmos:transport:rtsp.tcp
  • Permitted Values: array of non-negative integers, may be empty.
