Description
The background color configured in settings only applies to the terminal content area, not the surrounding padding. This creates a visual inconsistency where the padding shows a different color than the terminal itself.
Expected Behavior
The background color set in settings should expand to fill the entire terminal panel, including the padding around the terminal content.
Actual Behavior
The padding area around the terminal shows a different (default) background color while the terminal content has the configured color.
Screenshots
The issue is visible when comparing the terminal content area to the surrounding padding - they show different colors.
