Describe the bug
I used to use the AI enhancement mode, but recently it returns, “I’m sorry, I can’t help with that.” So I thought, okay, I’ll just turn it off and let my local model, the voice model, do the transcription without any AI at all. But now, even after I removed my Grok API key and removed the provider but it still tries to do the AI enhancement. Somehow somewhere some config is being cached and it keeps using my groq api although i dont want it anymore.
To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:
- Remove the AI provider that you had previously setup.
- Record and transcribe (normal usage).
- It will still process it via the AI Enhancement feature. (Check all the AI chips in the screenshot although AI provider is turned off).
Expected behavior
It should purely be local with my voice engine only without any AI Enhancement
Screenshots
Environment:
- macOS Version: Tahoe 26.3
- App Version: 1.5.13 (although i updated recently and it was the same issue before i updated it).
- Architecture: M4 Max.
Crash Logs
No crashes.
