Describe the solution you'd like
I think it would be nice if the setting "Press and Hold Mode" was per Hotkey instead of a global setting. It will let the user have the possibility to have 2 hotkey :

• 1 for push-to-talk mode
• 1 for hands-free mode

This is a good idea. So is improving keyboard shortcut handling generally. Sometimes keyboard shortcuts aren't recognized, and then when I try to reproduce it, it works. Other times, I'm not sure how I triggered the shortcut when I didn't intend to. If I'm able to figure out a definite pattern, I'll log an issue.

Feature request: Allow double-tap activation of a keyboard shortcut. This would make it able to operate like the built-in Mac OS double-tap control button to get dictation going, and I think would cut down on accidental activation.

FWIW, I'm also noticing some flakiness on the keyboard-shortcut handling. For some reason when I press the chord with my keyboard it works, but when I send the same chord via a programmable mouse button, it doesn't work. It was working previously on a different app, so I don't think the problem is with my mouse..

Adding a new mode to enable both push / hold in the same key ( Hybrid mode ) - This way if you hold for >0.4s - it will be hold to talk and if it's less than 0.4 - it would be tap to release mode. :) I hope this helps for now @iiNku . Why bother to have 2 keys when 1 can achieve it.
