Exit nodes aint working

Yeah. The other issue explains how to use the phone as an exit node, but im running into an opposite problem - while the phone has an exit node set, it has no internet connection. My exit node says its "online", but no pings can be done neither to or from the phone (including both devices in the tailnet and outside of it) until i unset the exit node.

If this is relevant, but it probably isn't since literally everything else works fine, I'm doing this with a self-hosted headscale server, which is the exit node. So, the phone pings the server to tell it its online, but cant reach it to pass the traffic through it.
