Devices that do not reproduce the issue

No response

Reproducible in the demo app?

Yes

Reproduction steps

  1. Open the demo app
  2. Click on +. Аdd track and play
  3. Click on cast button and select receiver
  4. I see playing video on TV receiver
  5. Click on back button on control panel
    or
Turn off TV receiver by power button
  6. The video on the TV turns off or the TV itself turns off

Expected result

The video keeps playing on phone
I expected the similar behavior like click by cast button "stop casting"

Actual result

Player switches to buffering state, I see the loader on media notification and can't play video
To continue interacting with the player on the phone, I need to explicitly click on the cast button and turn off the cast by "stop casting"

I'm not able to reproduce this when casting to an LG C3 TV. When I turn off the TV, the video playback resumes on my phone as you expect.

That suggests this is related to the casting implementation in the Realme TV you're testing with. I'm afraid we don't have access to this device, so we are limited in the investigation we can do into this.
