I am trying to setup the twitch Kodi plugin but I can't

Expected Behavior

When I type in the url, I should be getting a login prompt

When I type in the url, the page loads the word "gone" in the top left and nothing else.

2.6.2 is over a year old, the URL has changed since then. Check if this works for you: https://github.com/anxdpanic/plugin.video.twitch/wiki/Private-API-Credentials---OAuth-Token

how do I update it? cuz it doesn't show any updates in kodi

You'd probably have to update your kodi first. Pretty sure the latest versions of the twitch addon require kodi 20+

Dunno what to tell you. Kodi 18.7 is from May 2020 https://kodi.wiki/view/Releases
