[FEATURE] Ability to show icon only - no count

Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe.
I'd love the ability to still show a status icon but hide the actual counts. That way, it behaves as an indicator but does not take as much space.

Describe the solution you'd like
I'd like to add an option flag such as show_count that allows for hiding of counts. This could also be itemized into items like show_behind_count.
