BOOT1: load the kernel from disk

Includes parsing the Multiboot headers.

This part is probably too complex to be done in assembly and should supposedly be the first piece of code written in C/C++ that is executed.

  • loaded at 0xF000 - 0x9F000 (to be further parsed and loaded in high memory)

• memory hole:
  • 0xA0000 - 0xFFFFF
