QUESTIONS: Differences between assemble and assemble-core

A lot of the documentation on the assemble website refers to assemble rather than assemble-core. As a new user trying to figure out how to use the tool is hard to figure out if the docs are correct or, if not, where do they need to be changed so I can send patches to documentation.

• Is the documentation on the website up to date?
• What is the difference between assemble and assemble-core?
• Is there an up to date tutorial on how to get a basic assemble site up and running?
