Darkwrite is not available on Flathub, the de facto app store for Linux. The presence on Flathub would greatly increase the exposure and discoverability of this app, since this would make it available on app store applications like Gnome Software and KDE Discover.
Describe the solution you'd like
You can create a Flatpak package for testing and submit it to Flathub when it feels ready enough.
Describe alternatives you've considered
The AppImage package is another distro-agnostic solution but it has its own set of problems. There's no central app store, no auto updates and doesn't really help with discoverability. Also, AppImages aren't really self-contained applications since they require quite outdated dependencies like libfuse2.
Additional context
There's also a Flathub Beta repository you can submit your app to, if you feel it's not ready enough for the main Flathub repo.
