Why does Edit menu break after each use?

The full menu has 11 options. After the menu is shut and reopened there are only two, Select All and Select All in Layer, until the file is reloaded.

I found mention of this over a year ago in App Store ratings https://apps.apple.com/us/app/inkpad-libre/id1522113334 and the temporary fix is to reduce motion in Settings but I can’t find any app-specific setting for this so all of the apps settle during my time with IL.
