I have four tapes from the same event that have this artifact of these horizontal lines that become more severe in proportion to the volume of the audio. Anyone seen this before or have a possible explanation?
Tape stock: Fuji Videocassette H520 KCA-60
Recording date: 1983-10-14
Playback decks: Sony VO-9800 and Sony BVU-950

Hi @svhartzell, sorry for the delayed response. That's an artifact that's recorded into the program, but we're trying to find out what the potential sources of the problem are (could be a few). Michael mentioned that he reached out to the OldVTR list for more info.
