[Feature] By default sort the jobs by latest job posting date

I understand this is a significant request, but I believe this feature could be a major game changer. I'm not sure how the current code functions—whether it parses web pages directly or utilizes APIs.

The feature I have in mind is to retrieve the posting or reposting date and time from the job platform and store it in the database. By default, I suggest sorting the job listings in the application by this posting date. This way, candidates or users can easily apply to the newest job postings first.

The app is not using any APIs, but webscraping to fetch the jobs. Unfortunately there is no reliable way to make sure we properly scrape that field and also not all job boards show when a job was posted.

But you can achieve a similar effect by filtering only for jobs posted in the last 24h

The problem is, sometimes we don't get any jobs by filtering just for last 24 hrs and sometimes it's just clutter that does not even have your searched keyword.

Such as search for Android in LinkedIn, last 24 hrs, sort by most recent, filter remote, and see the job listings.

I know not all job boards will have this field but whatever job boards have them can we still scrape them?

It's not something I'm eager to jump on, as I don't really see the benefit. Also not having this field available for all job boards would make for a weird experience in the app.

The current "detected at" field should do the trick if you filter by last 24h or last week and sort jobs by posted date
