await database.Servers.Where(x => x.Portal == updatedPortal).BatchDeleteAsync();

the portalgeniusdatabase is my dbcontext
public DbSet Servers { get; set; }

What can I do to prevent and better understand this issue?

x.Portal is the foreign key property for the server-object x
