Description of the bug

MCP is not working. Fail to fetch available tools. Also Failed to fetch (127.0.0.1:9119) when testing any LLM provider on Linux. So Agent don't work at all, including the default BrowserOS agent.

Steps to Reproduce

1. Open BrowserOS
2. Try to use the agent or test any of the agent settings. OR try to get the MPC tools at chrome://browseros/mcp

Were you using the appimage or deb ?

Both. First I used the appimage. Deleted that when it didn't work and installed the deb instead. Still the same issue.

In my case, I updated BrowserOS to 0.36.2, but the problem persists: "MCP Server failed to fetch." Last time, when updating to 0.36.0, I uninstalled the browser and performed a clean install, which worked. However, after installing 0.36.2, the "failed to fetch" error returned.
I checked a past issue fixing this difficulty here: #144 (comment)
Here is how to resolve the issue:
Create 2 empty profiles and reload the browser (close it completely, including the tray icon). After restarting the browser (I am on Windows), a Microsoft Defender prompt for me, will appear asking to allow BrowserOS Agent to connect to the server. I сlick "Yes," and the "failed to fetch" problem will disappear for me.

@DmitryLapchev oh sorry about this experience! I can feel the frustration. 😓 Will need to support windows OTA to avoid this recurrent install and then allow permissions. will look into it. Thank you for feedback!
