Mac cannot open .mix files with Vimix

I told the finder to open .mix files with Vimix by default.
Then I clicked on a .mix file and got this:

Bug or I'm doing it wrong?

Thanks for the comment! I agree it would be great !

I just do not know how to do that : vimix accepts files as arguments in command line. I have no idea how an OSX app specify a file to open. Happy to learn ! If you have indications, it would be greatly appreciated and I could try to comply with it !!
